Utility
San Diego homes are served by San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), whose time-of-use rates make evening power more expensive — a reason many homeowners pair solar with a battery.
Climate
Mild coast, hotter inland valleys. AC needs vary a lot by neighborhood, so we size by load calculation.
Outages
SDG&E may turn off power in some areas during high fire-risk conditions.
Permits
Within city limits, permits are issued by the City of San Diego Development Services Department. We handle the application and inspections.

San Diego homeowner questions
Is a heat pump enough for a San Diego home?
For most San Diego homes, yes. Mild winters make heat pumps an efficient way to both heat and cool.
